Where the complexity and size of a project requires that people in a particular project site need to be relocated to a different area, METS is a able to prepare Resettlement Action Plans (RAP) in accordance with legal requirements and best practices. METS has the requisite expertise to not only prepare the RAP but to also implement it from inception to completion.
Through undertaking RAP for various projects, METS has developed invaluable relationships and network with key stakeholder that facilitate and smoothen the RAP implementation process. The Company has also developed capacity in dealing with communities, traditional leadership, non-governmental organizations and relevant government authorities that are key in the successful implementation of RAP.
