According to Zambian Laws, companies operating winders, lifting equipment, pressure vessels and slings among others, are required to carry out Non-Destructive Tests (NDT) to ensure the integrity of such equipment for continued safe use. METS is accredited by the Mines Safety Department of Zambia to carry out NDT’s and provide consultancy services in the field of NDTs.
Using modern equipment and experienced personnel, METS is able to undertake flaw detections on winder attachments, welding joints, slings and lifting equipment and certify continued use or recommend maintenance requirements to ensure safe use of the equipment.
