Sample preparation is the first step in the process of determining the mineral composition in Geological, Exploration and Mining samples. METS also provides sample preparation services to clients that are unable to prepare the samples but are able to undertake their own analysis once the samples have been prepared.
Equipped with a high strength and high impact jaw crusher supported with a modern laboratory pulverizer, the METS Analytical Laboratory is able to mill Geological, Exploration and Mining samples to achieve very fine particle size ready for digestion and subsequent mineral analysis. Depending on customer requirements, METS is also able to undertake particle size analysis for the milled/pulverized samples.
