As a legal requirement, greenfield and some brown field projects falling within a prescribed scope and investment thresh-holds are required to prepare and submit comprehensive Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) Reports for approval by regulatory authorities. ESIA Reports are prepared prior to commencement of a project and approval or lack of approval of an ESIA Report could result in delays in project commencement or rejection of a project.
